By 1962, the Forrest Sign Company employed twenty people sign painters, gold leaf letterers, shop foremen, sign installers, salesmen and secretaries. Mr. Forrest, by now rather toned down from his earlier days, decided to sell out his interests to three colleagues, Sol Schlockman, David Sher and Dave Brandeis. These three industrious gentlemen consolidated their business talents and became the Forrest Sign Company, a Division of Dasherman, Inc. Dasherman being an acronym of their first and last names
